What is FaceJam?+
FaceJam uses AI to put your face into any music video. Upload a selfie, upload a music video clip, and our AI swaps the performer's face with yours — frame by frame. The result is a sharable video where YOU are the star.
How much does it cost?+
Free preview: 10-second clip at 720p with watermark (1 per account). Full video: $7.99 one-time — full length, 1080p HD, no watermark. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.
What kind of selfie works best?+
Front-facing, well-lit, eyes visible, face centered in frame. Avoid: sunglasses, extreme angles, heavy filters, or blurry photos. The better your selfie, the better the face swap. A simple phone selfie in good lighting is perfect.
Does it work with any music video?+
It works best with videos where the performer's face is clearly visible and front-facing for most of the clip. Our AI detects faces in each frame — if the face is obscured, at extreme angles, or in dark lighting, those frames will use the original face.
How long does processing take?+
Free preview (10s): about 30-60 seconds. Full video: 2-5 minutes depending on length. You'll see real-time progress updates while you wait.
Can I swap multiple faces in one video?+
Currently FaceJam swaps your face onto all detected performers. Multi-face support (different selfies → different performers) is coming soon as 'Group FaceJam' for $14.99.
What video formats are supported?+
MP4, MOV, and WebM files up to 200MB. Most videos from YouTube downloads, screen recordings, or phone recordings work great.
Is this a deepfake?+
FaceJam is designed for entertainment — putting YOUR face in a music video as a fun gag. All outputs include an 'AI Generated' watermark and disclaimer. You can only swap your own face (selfie-based consent). We do not allow swapping faces onto content without the face owner's participation.
What about copyright?+
You upload your own video clips for personal entertainment use. FaceJam does not host or distribute copyrighted music videos. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload. Output is for personal sharing and entertainment.
Does FaceJam change the voice too?+
The current version keeps the original audio as-is — the face swap maps onto the existing performance, so lip movements naturally match the original singing. Voice blending (mixing your voice with the singer) is coming in a future update.
Can I get a refund?+
If the face swap quality is poor (e.g., face not detected in most frames), contact us at
[email protected] and we'll either re-process or refund your $7.99. We want you to be happy with the result.
Where is my data stored?+
Your selfie and video are processed on secure servers (Google Cloud) and automatically deleted after 24 hours. We do not store, sell, or share your biometric data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do I need to download an app?+
No! FaceJam runs entirely in your web browser — works on iPhone, Android, desktop, tablet. No app download needed, no app store fees.
What's the difference between FaceJam and StudioRam?+
FaceJam is a fun, one-click face swap tool ($7.99/video). StudioRam is our professional AI animation studio for creating entire animated series with consistent characters ($15-99/scene). FaceJam is powered by StudioRam's AI engine.
